Who am I?
Well, Let's start from my name. My first name is "Le", and the last name is "Sun".
According to our chinese culture,we usually put the family name first, my legal name is "Sun Le"
printed in my passport.When I was about 12 years old, my mom gave me an english name as "sandy".
After that,I would like to introduce myself as sandy to westerners.However, Since I am a citizen
of P.R.China,my common signature in english is "Le Sun(Sandy)" in e-mails.
So,With a stamp of china(CN), I named my website after my name as
sunlecn.net.
By the way, I was born in Nanjing, a city with splendid histroy,
and grew up there before I studied in the university.
Academic life
I studied in
for the bachelor degree of engineering from 2000 to 2004. My major was the engineering of communication
with EE option.
I served also in Youth League in Engineering of Communication School,Xidian University,from
junior assistant to commissioner

- Department Undersecretary(Oct,2001 - Sep,2002)
- Department Secretary(Sep,2002 - Mar,2003)
- Commissioner in the League(Nov,2002 - Mar,2004)
During that time, I was awarded two honors for prising my contributions.
- Excellent League Member in Xidian Univeristy(May 4,2002)
- Excellent League Leader in Xidian University(May 4,2003)

Meanwhile, In technical field, I dug down deep in the electronic design.
In 2003, I led a team to join the electronic design contest of the university,
and won the third prize. Then, I led another team, getting the spcial grade prize in
The
"Xinghuo" Cup Science and Technology Contest.
During that time, with the practices in engineering, I have accumulated the solid knowledges in embedded system,
including the design of digital/analog circuits, the assembly language programming, and
the circuit board making. That is why I always said myself - "I am a hardware-software co-engineer".

Moreover, I got a part time job in a growing company, which has very gorgeous future, I believe.
It is the Nanjing Dima Science and Technolgy Co,Ltd.As a support engineer, I was trained as CCNA.
Thence,I extended my knowledge in the networking, specially in concepts of the network and the configuration
of the cisco's router and switch. It was the first time to hold the conference and lecture to the customers.
The company gave me lots of spaces and let me grow higher and higher.
Days in SUN
It was a long story.Around 1998,when I was in senior middle school,I met a proud engineer in Nanjing,
who worked for SUN. He showed me the SunOS, a cool unix operating system,and then I found that I will
join this great company. From then on,the dream has been hidden in my heart for a long time as a matter
of fact. while I was graduated from university,my first choice was SUN. To achieve the internship at
SUN China Engineering & Research Institute,I even gave up several official offers from other great
companies. I was very lucky that I was in, getting the position and working with the best engineers
from the globe village.
I have worked in SUN more than 2.5 years from an intern to software development engineer.Before being laid off
in strategetic RIF in Aug.2006,I have just finished a project,acting as a team leader,working with a small team
in india.
Unfortunately I was affected in the RIF,the department named CNS will be removed in SUN. Even now,I will give my thanks
here to all my friends.You have helped me a lot to let me grown faster.I am pround that I can have funs with you during
these years.My experience in working at SUN was the highlight of my professional career.Again,thank you,my friends.
I do miss the days I shared with you,however I have to leave.
